Women, you will not want to miss The Heart of the Matter on May 10 at Knox Ridge Baptist Church from 8:30-3:00. Gail Bucklin will share her personal family story and how God prevailed. Brochure and registration forms are on the back table.
Toys, small and large (Little Tykes, etc.) are needed for our new nursery. We are also in need of baby items. Donations can be placed in the old sanctuary.
Mary Martha will be making muffin-mix jars and is need of quart screw top canning jars, as well as walnuts, raisins, and dried apples. These will b sold at our first annual Spring Fling in June.
The closing program and banquet for Awana will be Friday, May 2 @ 6:00 at Windsor School. Please bring a casserole or salad if coming.
Mother-daughter tea, Friday, May 9 @ 6:00.
Monthly committee meetings will be Wednesday, April 2 (Deacon's meet @ 5:00, committees @ 6:00, & Executive committee @ 7:00).
If you loved the soup cook-off, you are in for another delicious treat as WMBC will be hosting a Dessert Cook-Off on April 19 @ 7:00 p.m. $5.00 entry fee, $1.00 to taste, $1.00 to vote. Don't miss this scrumptious night of sweets. Friends are welcome as well!
The annual 1-mile Walk-A-Thon to benefit the Windsor Town Food Bank will be on April 19, beginning at 9:00 a.m. at the Windsor Fairgrounds. Pledge sheets are on the back table. Consider walking or pledging! See Diane Dow or Dorene Gerrish for more information.
Anne Graham Lotz (Bily Graham's daughter) is coming to the China Lake Conference Center on May 2 and 3. Registration forms and information are on the back table. See Marilyn Nelson if interested ($25 due by April 18).
Would you like to get to know people in our church better while having fun enjoying good food and fellowshipping? Consider joining Connect 6. Groups of 6 people will get together 4 times throughout the year at individuals' homes to eat and get to know each other better; the first diner (potluck) being held at the church on April 26. Informational and sign-up sheets are on the back table.
We are growing, and so is our need for cleaners. Please consider serving the Lord by signing up to clean the church. Groups of 4 can sign up with 2 people cleaning each floor, and you can sign up for weekly or monthly commitments.
